The six extremities: height, depth, East, West, North, South, and the Holy Temple is set in the middle and it upholds them all.

He sealed the height with Yod He Vau; He turned upwards and sealed it. He sealed the depth with Yod Vau He; He turned downwards and sealed it. He sealed the East with He Yod Vau; He sealed the West with He Vau Yod; He sealed the North with Vau Yod He; He sealed the South with Vau He Yod.

Five are over against five, and the covenant is exactly in the middle, like the circumcision of the tongue and circumcision of the flesh. Twenty-two letters, three mothers, seven doubles, twelve simples — all are sealed in one Spirit.

One over against three, three over against seven, seven against twelve; all are linked together — a sign of this: twenty-two letters which the Lord God of Israel engraved with His voice, and hewed out in the air, and fixed them in the mouth at five places.
